okay so I am a dork and went to an anthropology meetup and I was talking to my prehistory anthropology prof about medieval europe and how to get in the working loop and he was like “oh go talk to heather”

so I asked her about the 14th-16th centuries and she got a BIG SMILE!! CAUSE SHE SPECIALIZES IN MEDIEVAL ASIA and she was like “OH DO THIS, THIS, AND THIS, TALK TO THESE PEOPLE, AND COME TO MY OFFICE HOURS BTW YOU CAN GET A MASTERS IN THE UK THEY LOVE CANADIANS GOGOGO”

AND I WAS LIKE TRYING TO HIDE HOW EXCITED I WAS but you could totally tell how psychotic I am about the subject

but she was recommending me a man who works at the ROM (royal ontario museum) WHO REPLICATED HIS OWN SUIT OF ARMOUR

and she’s giving me his email omg I am going to come off as crazy

also apparently the downtown campus has the BEST MEDIEVAL PROGRAM IN CANADA AND ONE OF THE TOP ONES IN THE WORLD AND I CAN…..GO TO IT…………………………………………..
